Why I Post Korean Pop Videos... EXPLAINED

Okay, many people draw inaccurate conclusions when they see the kinds of Korean music videos I post, so I decided to explain my choices. Here are my reasons for posting these videos, in order, according to how much each reason influences my decision.

1. Songs that I hear most frequently. In Korea, I don't listen to the radio and I don't watch TV. That severely limits the kind of music I hear and the types of songs. The only time I really hear music is when I'm out and about... perhaps a passing car, or (more commonly) a store is playing the music to draw people in or to get people excited... or when I'm on the bus... or when people are singing... or when I go to a singing room with somebody and they choose a certain song. So - this just happens to be girly pop videos, most often.

2. For one of the above reasons... the song has gotten stuck in my head.

3. The girls are cute.

Okay! There you have it! Now don't say I didn't tell you!

South Korea's Professional Gamers

Here's a news clip I found about South Korea's Professional Gaming industry. The news is calling them "athletes" but to me that's ridiculous. I refuse to call them athletes. Professional Gamers is MUCH more appropriate. They are no more "athletes" than professional debaters, speech writers, mathematicians, or authors. Sure, they can do something and they have talent... but athlete? no no no
